Sandy Therry (M. Couns, Dip Tch)
Sandy Therry has a Masters Degree in Counselling from Notre Dame University. She is also a Neuro Linguistic Practitioner (NLP), an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) specialist, and a highly regarded Singles' Coach.
Sandy specialises in self esteem issues and workshops, treating depression, anxiety, phobias, and post traumatic stress, as well as running telecourses aimed at teaching singles' and divorcees the most effective ways to find the true "Mate of their Dreams".
Sandy is also one of the very few counsellors in Australia who practises Internal Family Systems (IFS) work. It is a very deep and healing modality which incorporates both inner child and parts work. Sandy has been so impressed by this work, that she is currently giving a free counselling session using the IFS model to every person who signs up for the "Self Esteem and Boundaries" course.
Sandy Therry has appeared on “Today Tonight” and “Good Morning Australia” TV shows, was featured in "The Woman’s Weekly" magazine, and has written articles which appeared in The Sunday Times and The Melbourne Age newspapers.
Sandy pratices counselling at the Emotional Healing Centre in Duncraig, Western Australia. She regularly travels between the US and Australia to keep up to date with the latest findings in the fields of Counselling, Personal Growth and Relationships.
Sandy says, "I love the counselling profession. I am humbled each time I help someone heal from their past hurts because it allows them to start living a more open and much more fulfilling life. Whenever I can, I try to make my counselling sessions and workshops fun for my clients.
I don't think personal growth needs to be so serious. This work is truly my life's passion".
